Ram Charan who is going high and mighty on his film RRR‘s Oscar success and recently embraced fatherhood with wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela recalled his wife’s reaction to gifting her something expensive in the early days of their 10-year-old marriage.

“Forget what to gift girls. I don’t know what to gift my wife. I got a slap on the face early in the marriage. I got her a very expensive gift. I thought she was going to be floored. But she rejected it. Not even five seconds she took. It took me five hours to go outside and to go to another store. It was a very unique store,” recounted Ram Charan in a conversation with Youtuber and comedian Tanmay Bhat for online shopping site Meesho.
